But here I am. It is a Sunday afternoon...I am sitting at my in-laws....Sipping coffee and enjoying the view out the living room window....a soft and steady snow falling. These are the kinds of afternoons I really enjoy...and in which I finally buckle down and write a blog post.
I'll be honest, I have so much to catch up on from holiday time that I will have to break it into parts.
It was pretty much non-stop from my last day of school until we started again this past monday.
As of right now, my pictures are uploading, and we are at 125 of 488. Don't worry, you won't have to deal with THAT many pictures. But my goodness this is taking a while.
I would like to share some thoughts of things God is teaching me right now, but I want to do the pictures and get it out of the way first...so stay tuned. I will post more in the near-ish future. =)
*NOTE: several days have passed since I wrote the above part...but decided not to change it.*
These pictures are the every day life photos...I'll do Christmas celebrations in another post.
Also, they are a little out of order...i tried to group them better, but it didn't work.
These adorable, fun and lively kiddos are such a joy to be with. We will miss them so much when they move to California (we will miss J&K too...)
Celebrating Krissa's birthday. Such fun!
We had red velvet cake and red velvet wine! yum!
The next several pictures are from my days at School!
This is JK. He is such a complex little first grader...but lately his behavior has been top notch and we can tell he is making improvements. He said, "Miss Suzy, take a picture of my Godzilla eyes!"
This is RN. He is such a sweetie. And a little bit of a drama queen. In this picture he is using my "head spider", which is one of those prong/sensationalizers.
When he isn't talking about Transformers, he is probably asking you to apologize for hurting his feelings or making him mad.
We had the priveledge of having staff, players and the mascot from the Minnesota Twins come and do a reading program with our kids! they LOVED it!
For our Christmas party we made gingerbread houses and had pajama day.
Two of my coworkers who are rockstars in helping out with our challenging kiddos.
Miss A was diligently adding details to her house
J was frustrated that it wasn't easily constructing the way he wanted it to.
Me and a 5th grader I was meeting with monthly for a while. She's gonna be a heartbreaker....
Back to family. Karlina and Ender on the day of the Christmas program, looking so spiffy.
Handsome guys!
Playing Frozen is a common occurrence.
Date night for Ben's birthday to our favorite restaurant: Moscow on the Hill
delicious Russian food.
My new leather tote....handmade by a college classmate. Ben heard me raving about them and got one for me =)
Check her business out: Love the Hustle. She has so many cute totes, clutches, bags, and other things made out of leather.
Back to school days. this is my school bus buddy. I walk to his house every morning and we ride together. I used to work with him more throughout the day, but now the only time I really see him is on the bus.
Frost on the bus windows makes cool patterns.
He wanted me to take a picture of him looking studious
Sierra is loving the snow. today it was 36 and was actually pleasant being outside...
Ben and Aeslyn! She is growing up so fast!
Such a cutie. I loved bonding with her the other night.
*sigh* babies.
Content and beautiful!
Well there you have my random life update. Next up is Christmas in California!! I'm really excited to go through those pictures and enjoy reminiscing.
